Vladimir Aleksandrovich Stoliartchouk | Владимир Александрович Столярчук
Born on January 18, 1944 in Sverdlovsk, Russia, Vladimir, or Volodya, was a professor in the Moscow Aviation Institute teaching informatics, physics, and the strength of materials. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1967 and got his PhD a few years later. He was born in Sverdlovsk and moved a lot when he was younger because of his father’s job. At some point he lived in Eastern Prussia where Kaliningrad is, living on the island of Sakhalin in the Far East just before going to college. He loved reading and spending time outdoors, especially when given the opportunity to travel by car. When he was younger he took his family––Alla, Alexei, and Alexander Stoliartchouk––all over European part of Russia and even to the Eastern Europe in 1989.
